Curvy romps to 1st Grade 1 in EP Taylor Stakes

Woodbine, Canada 18 October 2015

Curvy finally put the disappointment of being placed in the Irish & Yorkshire Oaks behind her when winning the Grade one EP Taylor Stakes in Woodbine in some style today. Rugged Cross wins listed Winter Stakes in Australia

Rosehill 18 July 2015

Rugged Cross finally earned the first "black type" of his career with a stunning late burst to take the Winter Stakes at Rosehill Racecourse in Western Sydney, Australia by a short head. Rugged Cross, who finished 8th in the 2012 Epsom Derby behind Camelot and won the Convivial Maiden at York in 2011, is now trained by Chris Waller in North Parramatta, NSW and was highlighted by us as a yearling in 2010.

Cliffs Paints a pretty picture in Group 2 Railway Stakes

The Curragh 27 June 2015

PAINTED CLIFFS galloped himself into the picture for top 2yo so far this season with a fine 2 3/4 length win in the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh today. Taken into a handy 2nd he was ridden to lead 1 1/2 furlongs out and stayed on well to win comfortably with Norfolk Stakes 2nd Log Out Island 4 lengths back in 3rd. Entries in the Phoenix Stakes & Gimcrack Stakes shows that Aiden O'Brien holds the colt in high regard.

Alice Springs into potential stardom!

The Curragh 26 June 2015

A new flashy looking star burst onto the scene at The Curragh this Friday when ALICE SPRINGS won the fillies maiden in very good fashion. This eyecatching chestnut, by Galileo out of Aleagueoftheirown, cruised into contention 2 furlongs out and was ridden clear to win, on her debut, by a confortable 2 lengths. She has entries in both the Lowther Stakes at York and the group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh. Certainly one to keep an eye on!

Curvy is Queen in Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes

Royal Ascot 18 June 2015

CURVY continued her meteoric rise through the 3yo fillies ranks with a tenacious victory over Irish 1000 guineas winner Pleascach at Royal Ascot in the Ribblesdale Stakes over 1 1/2 miles today. This followed a stunning win over subsequent dual Derby placed Giovanni Canaletto in the Group 3 Gallinule Stakes at The Curragh in May.  By super-sire Galileo by Frappe means she is a half sister to Irish 2000 Guineas winner Power, but David Wachman has high hopes for the filly's staying ability with entries in both the Group 1 Nassau Stakes at Goodwood in July and the Yorkshire Oaks the following month.
